WordPress provides simple stats on its Dashboard, but you may prefer to see Google Analytics instead. Monsterinsights is a WordPress plugin which brings google analytics in WordPress dashboard. Monsterinsights pulls your recent straight into WordPress so you don’t have to leave your site to see them.
Step-by-Step Process to Integrate Google analytics in WordPress dashboard
Step1:- Log into Your WordPress Dashboard and click Plugins. Click on Add New and Search for Monsterinsights, find it in the list and click install.
Click it again when it’s turned into an Active button. Click the insight menu, Click ‘Authenticate With your Google account‘,
Choose an account and click ‘Complete Authentication‘ and click on the “Allow” to authenticate.
and finally, complete your authentication by Selecting ” All Website Data”.
Step2:- Click Reports to see the Analytics overview graph for the past 30 days. Use the tabs to view the graph by Sessions ( the number of people who visited your site) or Pageviews ( the number of actual pages your visitors viewed.
Below, you’ll find the total visitors and sessions, the average time spent on site and bounce rate.

Step3:- Scroll down for more detailed information showing the countries your visitors come from and the sites that referred them to yours.
At the bottom, you’ll find the most useful section – the list showing which pages people are visiting.
If the default top 10 sites aren’t enough, use the buttons at the bottom to view more.
