Windows 10 comes with a Quick Access view and it’s a default page of File Explorer in Windows 10 and whenever you open File Explorer using its shortcut icon or WIN+E hotkey, this new view is shown in File Explorer. It shows frequently used folders and recently used files list in File Explorer.
Although quick access is a good feature in Windows 10, it may not be for everyone, in this article I want to show you how you can disable or use an own folder instead of a frequently used folder.
Disable Quick Access In File Explorer on Windows 10:-
To disable quick access and add own folder instead, Open File Explorer, click on File and select ‘Change folder and search options”
and in the “General” view, in Privacy uncheck both ” Show recently used files in Quick access” and “Show frequently used folders in Quick Access“.
now open your drive and select your folder that you want’s to put in quick access and select “Pin to Quick access” option that’s it.
