How to Transform your Site to a Fast Loading Website
The loading speed of your website plays an important role in improving your search engine optimization and revenue. There is a thin line between an amazing online experience and a horrible one. Your website loading speed can determine either of them. It is no news that 70% of site visitors abandons a site or fails to shop on a site that takes more than 3 seconds to load. Growing a large subscriber base is synonymous to building an oil well on your WordPress site. We have taken up the responsibility of improving the performance of your website by providing you with tips to maintain an efficient website load speed.
Consideration for Transform your Site to a Fast Loading Website:-
Choose a Good Hosting Service
Every beginner almost always opts for shared hosting. I am not an exception, I did it too. Shared hosting is believed to be the perfect fit for low traffic WordPress sites. Shared hosting is cheap hosting but it comes at a cost. If your website is likely going to attract huge traffic, then shared hosting is not for you. Go for a dedicated server. Do a proper research before choosing a host. Consider their support system, especially if your website goes down. I usually recommend Bluehost and Hostgator. Their service is top notch.
Does Server Location Really Matter?
For Google, definitely not decisive. Foreign-hosted websites frequently appeared in top results. However, a distance of the server definitely plays a role. Out of other search engines, Baidu in China and Yahoo! in Japan showed locally hosted websites more frequently, which indicates server location might be one of their ranking factors. When targeting users in China or Japan, I would recommend having a separate website that runs on a local server.
Google Local Domains
For Google, local servers are preferred but are not decisive. This is especially true for local queries where websites hosted locally were preferred in the results.
In Russia, Yandex frequently shows results from different countries, so server location does not matter that much.
As I thought, Naver is happy to show any content in Korean that they consider being high quality or relevant. So again, the server location does not matter greatly.
Results from Yahoo! Japan were almost exclusively from Japan, which could indicate that Yahoo prefers locally hosted websites there.
Very few results that appeared on Baidu were websites hosted outside China. Some of the results were from Hong Kong, but the others were almost entirely from Mainland China.
Use the Best Caching Plugin
W3 Total Cache is a popular user-friendly caching plugin for WordPress sites. If properly configured, the plugin promises to boost the total performance of your website. It boosts the loading speed of your website, thereby improving user experience.
If you’re using WordPress for your eCommerce store and for News, Media, and Marketing websites then Content Delivery Network (CDN) is the ideal solution. However, MaxCDN is the most suitable choice when it comes to choosing the best CDN network for your WordPress website.
Create a Faster Mobile Web with AMP
Needless to say, today’s user are more impatient especially with smaller screens- smart-phones, tablets, etc.
Therefore, with a solid understanding of modern mobile users and to see the growth of mobile subscribers Google with big media publishers and technology partners initiated Google AMP project for making mobile web faster.
AMP is a new initialtive from Google that aims to speed up the user experience on mobile devices. The basic concept is simple: a content delivery network for your site. A CDN is a system of data centers that cache and load your site. Whenever someone clicks on your site and you are participating in AMP, they will be served by the data center closest to their physical location. That makes the site load up to four times faster.

Choose a Solid Framework
A beautiful website theme has zero value if it negatively affects the loading speed of your website. All WordPress themes are created for aesthetic value, but not all are created equal. Whatever your choice is, always consider a theme that will not slow down your website when multiple plugins are installed. At best, go for functionality over appearance. From practical experience, Thesis Theme Framework has been delivering on their promises and so far has produced the fastest loading premium themes.
Images occupy much more space on your content folder than the text itself and this has a direct effect on your load speed. To cut down on the load time of the pages of your website, compress the images without losing much of the quality.
Delete Unused Plugins and Media
Why hold on to the unused plugin when you can easily download and activate it when you need it? Same thing goes for images and videos. With time, they pile up and begin to slow down the loading speed of your website. To properly delete an unused plugin, you must deactivate it, before proceeding to the list of inactive plugins to delete it.
