How to Fix Windows Spotlight not working

I recently faced a strange issue with Windows 10 lock screen and Windows Spotlight. It just doesn’t update automatically and also there is no “Like what you see?” link.

I’ve already read any discussion about and tried any method: using PowerShell to re-register ContentDeliveryManager, etc. Deleting Asset folder and Settings results in updating the lock screen, but then it says the same forever.

One thing I noticed is that under “HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Lock Screen” there is no “Creative” folder: I also tried to copy that from working PCs but still doesn’t work.

Also, if I choose “Slideshow” or “Picture” as lock screen, even if the “fun facts” option is enabled, they are not shown. Even apps like weather are not shown.

PS: running sfc /scannow yields no errors.
